There are a number of Indians living in Manila. If you wish to be near Indian restaurants, you should consider living somewhere in Makati (particularly Makati Avenue or Jupiter st). However, hotels may get quite expensive since you'll be living in the business district. Standard hotels can be 3k-up but you can get cheaper ones like 1200k (estimate cost). You can also try going for cheap and good hostels along Población street (somewhere in Makati Avenue).
